Ajay Bisaria

Ajay Bisaria is a former diplomat whose career in the Indian Foreign Service spans over three decades. Throughout his diplomatic career, Ajay has demonstrated exceptional diplomatic skills and leadership, serving in pivotal roles such as Under Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, Private Secretary to the Prime Minister of India, and Joint Secretary (Eurasia), where he played a crucial role in shaping India's policy vision and bilateral relations with countries across the Eurasian region.

With extensive experience in diverse roles, Ajay has served as India's High Commissioner to key nations like Canada and Pakistan, striking a significant impact on bilateral relations and strategic engagements. 

Educated at prestigious institutions such as St. Stephens College, Delhi University, Indian Institute of Management Kolkata, and Princeton University, Ajay's academic skills are complemented by his fluency in multiple languages, including Hindi, English, and Russian, along with working knowledge of German, Polish, and Urdu.

His tenure as India's High Commissioner to Pakistan saw him actively engage with the new government under Prime Minister Imran Khan, fostering initiatives like the Kartarpur Corridor and contributing to efforts aimed at improving Indo-Pak relations.

Additionally, his diplomatic acumen played a vital role in establishing strong economic partnerships and cultural ties during his tenure as India's Ambassador to Poland.
